SVAN 947
Sound & Vibration Analyser

OVERVIEW
The SVAN 947 is all digital, Type 1 sound level
meter (SLM), vibration meter and analyser. It is intended to general
acoustic measurements, environmental noise monitoring, occupational health
and safety monitoring.
Three acoustic or vibration profiles can be measured in
parallel with independently defined filters and RMS detector time constants
(concurrent Impulse, Fast and Slow measurements are possible). RMQ detector
enables one to measure directly the Vibration Dose Value.
All required weighting filters (e.g.: A, C, W-Bxy, W-Bz or
H-A), including the latest ISO 2631 -1 standard, are available with this
instrument. Using computational power of its digital signal processor the
SVAN 947 can perform real time 1/1 & 1/3 octave analysis including
statistical calculations.
The high resolution FFT and pure tone detection options
further extend the capabilities of this unit. Fast USB 1.1 interface (12
MHz) creates real time link for the application of the SVAN 947 as a
PC "front-end".
Measurement results can be stored in large (8, 16 or 32
MB), non-volatile memory and easy downloaded to any PC using USB 1.1 or RS
232 interface and SvanPC software.
Thanks to built in rechargeable battery and robust,
lightweight construction, the SVAN 947 can be used in hard
environmental conditions over the work day.
